The Heart Gallery model is founded on finding forever homes for difficult-to-place foster youth. These youth are the ones who fall through the cracks and will often age out without a home unless programs like ours help them find a family. We accomplish this mission through a variety of programs which are crafted to be youth centered in their message.
Heart Galleries
Our digital gallery showcases the photos and stories of our youth. These youth-led profiles highlight their true hearts to prospective families, and they are empowered to be part of the process. With our youth-centered approach, we are the lead source of prospective adoptive families in Broward and have helped create over 500 new families!
Heart Days
Our Heart Days are also part of our Youth Enrichment pillar and a method for family matching. These community outings require volunteers. As volunteers, potential adoptive families are able to interact with the children in a low-pressure and fun-filled environment while helping support the outing. This unique matching method has supported many of our success stories.
Uniquely You
Photo shoots focused on empowering our youth and showing their beautiful hearts for the world to see. Volunteer photographers, hairstylists, and makeup artists come together for a day of beauty and fun as we photograph our kids to update our galleries. These photos will help them find their forever home while building their sense of self-worth and self-love.
Adoption Awareness/Outreach
Our team members work closely with the community to provide educational seminars, perform speaking engagements, set up informational booths, and host pop-up galleries to educate the community on adoption and our kids in care waiting for a forever home. We hope to recruit more families and combat stigmas surrounding adoption from foster care.
