In the state of Florida, families have the choice of being certified to either foster or adopt. If you are looking for a child or sibling group to be a forever child of your own, then adoption is the path for you and your family. If you are looking to support families in need by taking care of their children, with the ultimate goal being centered on reunification with their biological family, then fostering is the path for you and your family. 

If you are looking to support children in foster care by volunteering your time, the county is in desperate need of a Guardian Ad Litem to support and advocate for a child or sibling group while in care.
